Warm Vanilla Protein Oatmeal

Ingredients:

• 1 cup rolled oats
• 2 cups almond milk
• 2 scoops Vanilla NuGo Plant Protein
• 1 tbsp maple syrup
• 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
• Pinch of salt
• Toppings: sliced bananas, chia seeds, blueberries

Instructions:
  1. In a medium saucepan, bring the almond milk to a boil.
  2. Add the rolled oats and simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Stir in the NuGo Plant Protein powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt.
  4. Continue to cook for another minute until the oatmeal is creamy and thick.
  5. Add your toppings and serve hot.

 

Cinnamon Roll Protein Smoothie

Ingredients:

• 2 scoops Vanilla NuGo Plant Protein
• 1 banana, frozen
• 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
• 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
• 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
• Ice Cubes
• Optional: 1 tsp of almond butter for extra creaminess

Instructions:
  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender.
  2. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour into a glass and spring a little more cinnamon on top.
  4. Enjoy immediately for a refreshing & energizing treat.

 

Cocoa Berry Protein Bites

Ingredients:

• 2 scoops Chocolate NuGo Plant Protein
• 1 cup rolled oats
• 1/2 cup mixed berries, fresh or frozen and thawed
• 1/4 cup almond butter
• 1/4 cup agave syrup or maple syrup
• 1/4 cup vegan chocolate chips

Instructions:
  1. In a food processor, blend the rolled oats until they reach a coarse meal texture.
  2. Add the NuGo Plant Protein powder, berries, almond butter, and syrup. Process until the mixture begins to clump together.
  3. Stir in the chocolate chips by hand.
  4. Using a spoon, scoop out the mixture and roll into bite-sized balls.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

 

Dark Chocolate Protein Brownies

Ingredients:

• 2 scoops Chocolate NuGo Plant Protein
• 1 cup all-purpose flour (or almond flour for gluten-free)
• 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
• 1/2 cup coconut sugar
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
• 1/3 cup vegetable oil
• 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the NuGo Plant Protein powder, flour, cocoa powder, coconut sugar, and baking powder.
  3. Add the applesauce, oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until just combined into a thick batter.
  4. Pour the batter in the prepared pan, spreading evenly.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.
  6. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then lift out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. Cut into squares and serve.
