Sydney Moore, 20, is a bodybuilding competitor who will be competing in the NPC Junior Nationals in Chicago this June. Sydney has always enjoyed being active and loves competition and bodybuilding because it tests her limits. “It makes my mind stronger as well as my body,” said Sydney.
Her biggest achievement was winning first in the Bikini Class Open juniors and winning second in Pure Novice at the NPC Natural Indianapolis show. As she looks to her next competitions, she is very determined to give 100% and see where she can take her physique. Her goal is to build her upper body as well as increase her metabolism for her next shows.
Sydney’s favorite NuGo bar is NuGo Dark Mint Chocolate Chip, but she also likes NuGo Slim Crunchy Peanut Butter and NuGo Dark Chocolate Pretzel. She appreciates that these flavors are gluten-free, lactose-free, and macro-friendly, so they easily fit into her diet. She uses them before or after her intense training sessions.
When Sydney started college she tried to mix partying/college lifestyle with a bodybuilding lifestyle and found herself very unhappy. “My greatest achievement was changing my lifestyle completely,” said Sydney. By eliminating alcohol and bad habits she felt healthier and saw immediate body improvements.
Sydney is currently a sophomore at Illinois State University where she is studying Nutrition and Dietetics. Her goal is to become a Registered Dietitian because she enjoys cooking, helping family and friends with eating healthy, and working out. She loves helping people reach their fitness goals. Follow Sydney to her next competition on Instagram and Youtube.
