With so many sweeteners, how does a person know which one to choose?
High Fructose Corn Syrup is not the answer! HFCS is a cheap sweetener that many companies are using to sweeten their products. HFCS is basically corn syrup that undergoes an unnatural process to change its glucose into fructose. Studies show that HFCS may lead to obesity because it is not digested well. HFCS is also the product that gives corn products all a bad name. If you would like to use a healthy option as a sweetener, choose tapioca or agave syrup. These are two of the most natural sweeteners.
