NuGo Bars Now Available at Select Walgreens

Many Walgreens in Massachusetts and Rhode Island now carry NuGo REAL Dark Chocolate protein bars. The new NuGo display will be in these stores from September 1 to October 25, 2014, and features many non-GMO flavors. Walgreens carries the following flavors that are certified gluten-free, vegan, and Kosher Pareve: NuGo Dark Chocolate Chocolate Chip, NuGo Dark Mint Chocolate Chip, NuGo Dark Chocolate Pretzel with Sea Salt, and NuGO Slim Crunchy Peanut Butter (low sugar, no maltitol).

NuGo’s REAL Dark Chocolate melts in your mouth, releasing a luscious flavor. Other bars substitute unhealthy palm kernel oil for the natural cocoa butter, raising the melt point above body temp, making it waxy and too sweet.

Walgreens also has one NuGO STRONGER (lower sugar, no soy) flavor and one NuGo Family flavor. NuGO STRONGER Peanut Cluster tastes like a popular candy bar, is packed with 25 grams of protein, and is certified gluten-free. NuGo Family Vanilla Yogurt is certified low glycemic and contains 11 grams of protein as well as added vitamins. NuGo bars do not contain artificial sweeteners, high fructose corn syrup, or trans fats.
