NuGo Athlete of the Month: Nick Burdi

When Nick Burdi was just five years old, he started to play the game of baseball in Chicago, Illinois. Now at the age of 24, he is a professional baseball player with the Minnesota Twins. “Baseball has brought me all over the country and even the world,” said Nick. He was given a scholarship to attend the University of Louisville. After his Junior season, he was a second-round draft pick to the Twins. “Not only has baseball helped continue my dreams but has let me meet some awesome people and friends along the way,” said Nick. After a recent surgery, Nick’s current goal is getting healthy and back to the field.

His greatest achievement so far was winning a championship in A Ball, Double A, and Arizona Fall League. His two college world series trips in 2013 and 2014 are also something he will never forget.

Nick’s favorite line is NuGo Slim, and he especially loves NuGo Slim Chocolate Mint.
