Claire Liu, a 17-year-old tennis player from Thousand Oaks, California, is the World No. 1 in the junior rankings. She started playing tennis at the age of five when her parents started playing with her for fun. She kept playing because she loves the sport and how it allows her to travel all over the world. She loves tennis and has made so many great memories and friends. Claire won her first professional title at the age of 14, which made her the youngest tennis player to win a professional tournament since Anna Kournikova in 1996.
Her greatest achievement thus far was winning the 2017 Wimbledon Juniors. She became the first American to win the singles title since 1992. Claire also finished runner-up at the 2017 Junior French Open. In 2016, she won the Junior Wimbledon doubles tournament with Usue Arconada. Claire’s current goal is to keep working hard and having fun.
Claire’s favorite NuGo line is NuGo Dark, and she loves NuGo Dark Chocolate Pretzel, Mint Chocolate Chip, and Chocolate Chocolate Chip. Claire also eats NuGo Slim. She loves the bars because “they’re an amazing source of energy and they taste great. I like to use them before or during my training,” she said.
Outside of the Tennis, Claire loves to go shopping and hang out with her friends. Follow Claire on Instagram and Twitter.
