Maryna Moroz is a 26 year old Ukrainian mixed martial artist who signed with the UFC in 2015 where she competes in the strawweight division. She started practicing boxing at a young age and always dreamed about being a pro fighter. She was a Ukrainian boxing champion, world kickboxing champion and she was a member of the Ukrainian National Boxing Team. Then she started watching UFC fighting and became inspired. She began training in mixed martial arts in 2013, and after 2 years of hard work she made it to the UFC.
“It is an honor to be around so many great athletes, I am loving the UFC,” she said. She trains three times a day. As an athlete her goal is to be in the best shape she can be. Maryna’s UFC nickname is “Iron Lady” given to her by her Chinese fans. Her UFC record is 8 wins and 3 losses.
Maryna eats NuGo Protein Cookies and low sugar NuGo Slim bars. “I use them as snacks, I really like the taste and always eat them after hard trainings,” she said.
Outside of training, Maryna likes camping, cooking and drawing. She is also a coach for the Ukrainian Olympic Boxing Team. Follow her on Instagram.
